Jos Hadfield offers a new course: Taking Time to Care for Ourselves,
at Roselidden Farm, a retreat located near Helston in Cornwall.
The first session is on Wednesday 1st August 2018, 6.00-7.30pm,
and then at the same time on the following three Wednesdays.
There are three areas through which we connect with the world – the physical body, the heart and mental processing. When one, or more, becomes overworked we need to rebalance and maintain our equilibrium so we can continue, without draining our own reserves. Keeping a wholesome balance between all three is an ongoing act of looking after ourselves.
The sessions will involve learning simple exercises and practices that are easy to remember and don’t take too long to do, so they can be easily assimilated into busy times. The exercises and practices are drawn from a range of spiritual cultures and their simplicity belies the depth that the work leads to.
Whilst the sessions are open to everybody, they are particularly suitable for those directly or indirectly involved in palliative or other forms of care, regardless of professional or personal experience.
Cost is reduced to £35 for those attending all 4 sessions.
