Julia began Tai Chi in 1981 with Tew Bunnag, learning the Yang Style Short and Long Forms, Chi Gong, Martial training and Meditation practices. She is a founder member of The European School of Tai Chi Chuan and from its inauguration was Hon. Secretary for 10 years.
Julia began teaching in 1986 in Boston USA and afterwards in the UK, with regular visits to Europe for retreats with Tew and the school’s associated groups. Julia’s current teaching and practice now focuses on the therapeutic aspects of Tai Chi and Chi Gong, integrating the breath to deepen it’s calming effects to promote well being. The training also includes some energetic martial applications to strengthen awareness and direct chi.
She has taught teenagers, adults of all ages and adults with learning difficulties. Julia offers one to one and sessions for small groups in the South West Surrey area. Please contact her to discuss your needs and for more information.
